Road: On A4075, sign posted off A477, 5 miles East of Pembroke.
Bus/Train: The nearest train stations are at Pembroke Dock and Tenby, where you can catch the 361 bus service to Carew. For further information phone Pembrokeshire Country Council on 01437 764551 ext. 5227 during office hours.

Castle & Mill open daily 10 am - 5 pm, March 29th - October 31st 2010

Castle only open Nov 2nd 2009 - Mar 28th 2010 11 am - 3 pm (last entry 2.30pm) at concessionary price (please see Winter Opening for exceptions)
Open to group visits and Educational Tours by prior arrangement at other times.

DISABLED ACCESS -

There is wheelchair access to the ground floor of both castle, mill and both
shops. The mile round walk is also wheelchair friendly. There are two disabled toilets situated at castle reception and mill lane (opened with RADA key). A wheelchair is available from the castle reception for loan for those who have mobility difficulties.

There are a number of establishments adjacent to the site that provide refreshments.
Carew Inn (Tel: 01646 651267) As well as others.
Toilets: Main public toilets are situated at Carew Castle reception. (Please note: there are no public toilets at Carew Tidal Mill).  ('Click' for Map)
Gifts:

Shops are situated at both castle and mill receptions open 10 am - 5 pm (during main season)
selling publications and gifts. General information can be obtained from both receptions.  ('Click' for Map)
Car Parking: There is ample parking for both coaches and cars.  ('Click' for Map)
Picnic Sites: The main picnic site is situated on the North side of the Mill Pond.  However, all are welcome to picnic on any grassed areas open to the public. ('Click' for Map)
Guided Tours: Tours of the castle are provided free of charge at 2.30 pm daily except during winter opening hours.  Other tours take place according to staff availability or by prior arrangement. Educational Tours are also available.
